Mozzerella cheese, tomato, basil and balsamic is such a classic flavor combo and so fresh tasting. I topped my burger with those ingredients and the result was delicious!
When ever grilling a burger, you want to have some fat content in your meat so you don’t end up with a dry burger, I use 80/20. Also, during the grilling process, never ever smoosh your burger down with your spatula, as you release its natural juices.
- 80/20 ground beef, patted out and generously seasoned with sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper.
- Fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Tomato, sliced and lightly seasoned with salt & pepper then drizzled with balsamic vinegar
- Basil and baby spinach leaves, roughly chopped
- Brioche buns, lightly buttered abs grilled to a golden brown
Make sure to prepare your grill grate with non stick spray so your burgers flip easily. You should only flip them one time. Right before removing from the grill, top with fresh mozzarella cheese and slow to melt. Top with slice of balsamic tomato and basil spinach mixture.
