A very special person is moving away and he requested this yummy dessert for his going away dinner, so I of course made it! This is not low fat but it is so worth every calorie.
Preheat oven to 365 / spray a 9×13 pan
- 2 8oz packages of cream cheese, softened. I use Neufchâtel, the 1/3 less fat makes me feel a little better about eating it and you’ll never know the difference
- 1/2 C sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/4 C sugar
- 2 cans crescent rolls ( The crescent dough sheets work well)
- 1 stick real butter, melted
Beat cream cheese, 3/4 C sugar, sour cream, vanilla and 1 tsp cinnamon with mixer until smooth. Put one can of crescent rolls on the bottom of your baking dish, cover completely. Spread cream cheese mixture over crescent rolls and top with the other crescent roll package. Add remaining 1/2 C sugar to melted butter along with 1 tsp cinnamon, stir well and pour over the top of your cheesecake. Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and set.
