One last moving away request, cinnamon rolls for breakfast! These are super easy, delicious and quick. I promise to post recipes that aren’t just sweets; it’s been the perfect sugary storm for me in the last few weeks but that storm is passing.
Preheat oven to 375 / spray round baking dish
- 1 can buttermilk biscuits
- 1 C sugar (I have used Splenda in this recipe and it worked nicely)
- 1 TB cinnamon
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
Mix cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl. Roll biscuits to create a “bread stick”, dredge in cinnamon and sugar mixture, dip in melted butter and dredge one more time in sugar. Wrap into a roll shape and place in prepared baking dish. Bake 20-25 minutes. Top with your favorite icing or leave plain. Both buttercream icing and cream cheese icing pair nicely with these rolls.
