Sunday mornings are perfect for a quiche and spiced tea on the porch, especially with the weird 70 degree December weather we are having.

Preheat oven to 375, prepare 8 in quiche/tart pan with cooking spray

  • 8 slices canadian bacon
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 1/4 C sour cream
  • 3 oz  creamy havarti cheese, diced
  • 4 grape tomatoes, I sliced them in 1/2 then quartered each 1/2 to make bite size
  • 1/4 tsp italian seasoning
  • salt/pepper to taste

Arrange slices of canadian bacon around the quiche pan, up the edges and overlapping slightly. In medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and sour cream. Add salt/pepper and italian seasoning, diced cheese and tomato, mix until  combined; pour over Canadian bacon.  Place on baking sheet and bake 30-35 minutes until golden brown and the center is set.
